Schmae Campers!

As I write this, we have just 9 (nine) tickets left for Llamedos Holiday Camp 2022. If you haven’t got one now, you haven’t got long to get one!

Guest Mailing List.

Some of our ticket holders have noticed that we haven’t sent the invitation out to join the guest mailing list (rather than this general mailing list).

It will happen on Saturday this week. (Date: 17th July).

You will need to accept that invitation as soon as you get it as on Tuesday we are planning to send out the all important information for booking a hotel room to ticket holders only.

Which brings me on to...

Hotel Booking.

We have a brand new system this year, no more phoning en masse, just a simple email will suffice to our brand, shiny and new hotel booking email address.

More information about when, where and what information is needed will be sent out to guests next week.

To prepare you for the options, we have a simple list below.

All options include Breakfast as standard.

Double/Twin Room - £97 per room per night

Sole Occupancy - £85 per room per night

For the first time ever, you can have the true Holiday Camp experience by sharing your room with more of your friends.

A camp bed or sofa bed is available in many of our rooms, some rooms will fit 4 (four) people if you don’t mind sharing a bed!

Extra people in your room - TBC per person per night.

Camping at a Holiday Camp? Yes now you can Camp it Up at Llamedos Holiday Camp.

There are some regulations that you must adhere to whilst camping at Llamedos.

Camping regulations

No flames (this means no BBQs and NO camping stoves etc)
No parties - Site must be quiet by 11pm
Pitch only in your allotted space
We cannot allow any tents bigger than a standard 4 man dome tent
Price includes use of the facilities in the Eden Spa (Showers and Toilets)
Unfortunately there are no electric hook ups.
Cars must be parked in the car park and cannot be parked next to your tent.

All options include Breakfast at the Diplomat Hotel.

Camping (provide your own tent) - £15 per person per night.

Camper van (provide your own van) - £15 per person per night.

Spaces are very very limited. So you must book them with us via the Hotel booking system.

Ticket FAQs:

1. I've purchased a ticket but haven't managed to register yet!

Visit https://2022.llamedosholidaycamp.com/request/ and enter the email address you use to purchase your tickets. You will then be sent a time limited link to register your account.

2. I've forgotten my password?

Visit https://2022.llamedosholidaycamp.com/login/ and select the forgotten password link, enter your registered email address. You will be sent a time limited link to reset your password.

3. My friend purchased my ticket and I want to edit the details.

Ask your friend to edit your ticket and enter your email address. You will be sent an email with a time limited link to register your account. Your friend will still own the ticket but once allocated to you - they won't be able to edit it any more and will only be able to see limited information. (ie email address, badge name and real name - health information will be hidden)

4. Why do you ask me to fill in health information?

At the previous Camp we had an incident when one of our members fell ill and needed to go to hospital. They were at the event on their own and weren't able to provide important health information to the paramedics. We ask for this information so that if such an event occurs again we can print out a handover sheet to the medical professionals to attempt to get you back onto your feet again sooner. This is particularly important with medication as without this information it may delay treatment..

5. I don't want to give you my date of birth.

See above. The information you provide is not seen by anyone at Llamedos Holiday Camp other than Rwby and Rincewind and then only for the purpose of passing the information on to the emergency services. We may also use your birthday (not birth year) to sing you happy birthday at the event.

6. Why does it say I am currently unaffiliated?

We will soon be providing information about our dragon stables. They are not the same as families we introduced last time. We will give you an opportunity to read about the different stables and allow you to choose your top three. We will then do our best to allocate you into the most appropriate stable. During the weekend you will be able to win individual points but also points for your stables. The highest scoring team at the end of the weekend will each receive a prize.

7. I'm having other ticket related problems, who can I talk to?
