The Hogs Ball at Llamedos Holiday Camp

Welcome to our mid February newsletter with less than four weeks to go, we thought we would give you an update on our progress.

We are working really hard here at Llamedos towers but are a little bit behind as we have had to deal with Rincewind's father's unexpected death and subsequent funeral etc. The funeral happened last week and we are now working flat out to bring as much Hogs Ball cheer to you all as possible.

Waiting List Reminder

We have a small number of tickets on the waiting list. To go with those tickets we have a room at the Diplomat Hotel. We also have one spare room at the Sessile Oak. We would love to be able to pass those tickets onto new or old campers! If you know someone that might want to come please let them and us know!!

Badge Names

Please log into the Guest Area and check that you have entered badge names for all your attendees. Nobody wants to walk around the event with "unknown" written on their badge. Or worse, have to wear a badge of shame! Rwby will not be impressed.

Seriously though please do this asap as we will be printing all the badges very soon.

Whilst you are in the guest area please ensure all your details are up to date for all the tickets that you have purchased. As Rwby is regularly heard to say "If your name is not down, you will not be allowed in!".

Family Information

Please if you haven't yet chosen your family or asked Rwby to choose for you, please log into the Guest Area and choose your family. Rwby will at some time this week be allocating families for those that chose Rwby's choice. Again, if you haven't chosen or asked Rwby to choose for you - Rwby will allocate you a family (after doing all of the Rwby choice ones first).

This is your last chance to choose for yourself.

Family Facebook Groups

Rwby will be creating some family facebook groups for you to get to know your other family members later this week. Please keep an eye on our facebook page for details.

Talent Contest

Talent contest rules this year are the same as previous years. You are allowed only music (no videos or powerpoint presentations) which must be brought to Dr Hix on a USB stick. Please ensure you label your usb stick with your badge number so it can be returned to you after use.

Your music files are either in MP3 or WAV format.
The latest you will be able to give your USB stick to Dr Hix is Saturday at noon.
Your act cannot be longer than 180secs.
We can only provide anything other than a microphone.

Charity Auction Items

We have a charity auction on the Sunday afternoon and if you have an item that you think would sell well and are happy to donate it to raise funds for the Wales Ape and Monkey Sanctuary please bring your items to registration or the GLO desk.

Hushed Hogfather

Please don't forget to bring your Hushed Hogfather gift to the camp. Please hand in your pre-wrapped gift at registration.. The rules for the gift exchange are simple:

No food
No Alcohol.
Prefer Homemade or Pre-loved.
Max spend: £10
Nothing too big
Suitable for any Llamedos attendees

Only those bringing gifts will be entitled to participate in the exchange.
