The team here are about to leave the warmth of HQ and head down to the Camp to prepare for The Hogs Ball.
With a cart laden with goodies for all the campers, they are already exhausted and the event hasn't started yet!

You can check in to the event on Friday from 2pm at the registration desk. Please bring ID with you.
What to do if you are turning up later than expected.
Registration will be open right up until the last Purplecoat goes to bed on Friday night.
Well I say that…
If you arrive AFTER 6pm, please head directly to the Balllroom where a Purplecoat will be able to register you.
- The New Campers Guide to Llamedos starts at 6pm
- Dinner is at 7pm
If you arrive after the evening's events finish, find a Purplecoat at the bar, they will be able to register you and give you your welcome pack.
And the GLO desk will be open on Saturday so if you arrive on Saturday, I am sure Agnes and co will happily register you and give you your welcome pack.
Thursday Night Quiz!
For the early arrivals, there will be a THURSDAY NIGHT Pub quiz in the Bar of The Diplomat Hotel starting at 7+1pm run by our resident Wizzard Rincewind. Anyone can come to this. Please bring a pen and a sense of humour.
The prize will be a box of chocolates - if Rwby hasn't eaten them by then!
Wales Ape and Monkey Sanctuary.
Our chosen charity, The Wales Ape and Monkey Sanctuary, would love you to help them feed their animals, not literally but by providing a food parcel. We run a food drive just for them and they will take anything that is still sealed/unopened and within date. This includes: pasta/rice, squash, tinned vegetables/fruit, dried fruit, edible seeds, bird food, cat and dog food. Please check their Amazon wishlist as well for more ideas of what they need.
They will also happily take anything from their Amazon Wishlist sent directly to them.

Rwby decided to help all campers with a useful checklist of things you need to pack.
CHECKLIST FOR PACKING
- Charity Auction items - don't forget to pack them
- Hushed Hogfather Item - don't forget to WRAP It and bring it.
- Sanity - you need just a little bit.
- Medicines - if you take them, bring them.
- Talent Contest Idea - always useful to have one.
- Clothes - not optional, you need to wear some.
- Friendly attitude - Nice not Naughty version
- Cleansing products - we prefer clean campers.
- Money - some as cash for the charity pots, some on a card for the traders and charity auction.

We do not monitor our social media constantly and it's easiest and quicker if you email us, but please be aware we will be extremely busy with setup for the event so will not be able to respond immediately.
BUT!!! If you find you have broken down on the way, or some other incident has befallen you on your way to the event, please ring the hotel and ask them to get a message to us. Leave your number and name and Rwby or Rincewind will phone you asap. We may not be able to offer practical assistance, but we can put things in place for your late arrival.
