Welcome to the first newsletter of 2024 - this is also the first newsletter sent out on our new shiny web server so hopefully everything will work just fine!
Scout Troops
Time is running out for you to choose your preferred scout troop. If you haven't yet chosen your scout troop please log into the guest area and do so as soon as possible.
If you leave it too long Rwby will randomly allocate you to a troop!
New Llamedos Shop
As it’s the new year why not get yourself a new wardrobe from our new Llamedos Shop. From Saturday 6th Jan at 12noon you will be able to peruse our web shop and choose between t-shirts, tote bags, mugs and bottles all adorned with our lovely Scout Jamboree logo.

Please appreciate we only ship to the UK. If you are from outside the UK and wish to purchase anything please email us at info@llamedosholidaycamp.com with your order before 2nd February and we will invoice you and arrange for it to be collected at Llamedos.
Want to be immortal?
The amazing Darkbox Images will be visiting the Scout Jamboree and taking incredible Victorian tinplate photographs. To ensure you get the full experience Gregg will be providing pre-booked slots over the weekend.
What you will get is the history of tinplate photography, a very permanent photo (on tinplate) taken on a very old camera. Be prepared for an amazing experience. It’s worth every penny. We have one of their photos here.
- Small plates (4”x5”) cost £40
- Medium plates (half plate) cost £70
- Large plates (whole plate) cost £100
Do take a look at their website to see what they are capable of. We guarantee you’ll want to see their darkroom!
We’ll announce pre-order information when it is available.
Diplomat Hotel / Camping Payments
We've been informed that a small number of people still haven't called the Diplomat to secure their bookings. If you haven't called yet please do as soon as possible.
As a reminder the full balance for your booking will be due at the end of January.
Sessile Oak Payments
We still have a couple of people that have not paid for their rooms at the Sessile Oak (not including the ones Rincewind forgot to invoice!). We’re due to pay the full hotel bill tomorrow (6th January) and will therefore not be able to hold unpaid rooms for very long.
Please if you haven’t paid for the Sessile Oak please do so asap. If you cannot find the invoice please email us at info@llamedosholidaycamp.com
